About Nicole

I grew up in northern Utah, the middle child of five girls. My mother was a business woman and voracious reader. She met my father while they both worked at a publishing company where she was a typesetter and he ran a printing press. My father was an artist and after they divorced, he worked for many years finding his voice as a potter and sculptor. My mother remarried an electrical engineer when I was ten who shared her passion for reading, especially fantasy books.

Both of my fathers loved science fiction and space opera. My father was obsessed with aliens and we spent time during my youth when he was still with my mother watching Star Trek or Star Wars.

After working in the publishing industry for several years in Nashville, TN, I left to pursue my own publishing dreams. I now write urban fantasy and space opera adventures. Some are pure fun, while others have a more metaphysical, spiritual angle.

For fun I boulder, rock climb, travel, and go on mini adventures with my kids.

My hope is that by sharing my own spiritual journey with candor, I can serve as a guidepost to others who are searching for answers or meaning in their lives.
